Asia Pacific Journal of Education
The Asia Pacific Journal of Education is currently in its third year of operation under this title. [Formerly it was called the Singapore Journal of Education]. The Managing Editor is S. Gopinathan, who is one of CERC's Associate Members. The Executive Editor is Jason Tan. Both work at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The International Advisory Board includes CERC members Mark Bray and Cheng Kai Ming.

Journal of Education and Development in the Caribbean
A new journal for the Caribbean was launched in 1997. It has two issues a year. Subscriptions (1998): Institutions US$75, Individuals US$38, Students US$33. Editor and subscription manager: Dr Zellyne Jennings, Education & Development Services Inc., P.O. Box 10412, Georgetown, Guyana.
IJED moves to six issues a year
The International Journal of Educational Development, which is published by Pergamon Press in Oxford, has increased its publication frequency to six issues a year. The Asia-Pacific Editor is Mark Bray of CERC, who will be pleased to receive submissions. Institutional subscriptions of US$490 can be ordered through Elsevier Science, The Boulevard, Langford Lane, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 1GB, UK. Members of the US Comparative & International Education Society (CIES) can obtain personal subscriptions at the very advantageous rate of US$60.
Comparative Education
Comparative Education is a well-established and prestigious journal which is published by Carfax in Oxford, UK and appears three times a year. CERC's Cheng Kai Ming is a member of the International Advisory Board. The institutional subscription rate is US$482 (£224 European Union). The personal rate is US$164 (£68 in European Union)

International Journal of Leadership in Education
A new journal has been launched by Taylor & Francis (UK), to focus on leadership in education. A key feature is the journal's alternative, progressive stance. It features academic and practice-based articles, and presents an alternative voice in the dialogues of educational administration and supervision.
