XIII WORLD CONGRESS
3-7 September 2007
Sarajevo, Bosnia and
Herzegovina
Theme
Living Together,
Education and Intercultural Dialogue
The Congress will be hosted by
the Mediterranean Society of Comparative Education (MESCE), and organised under
the leadership of Adila Kreso of the
University of Sarajevo. Sarajevo is a historic city of great beauty and
cultural significance. It has already undergone great reconstruction since the
civil war that ended in 1995. As a meeting ground of Islamic, Christian and Jewish cultures, and as
a society with recent memories of strife, it is an especially appropriate
location for a Congress on the theme.
