Topic: Bonding I


Before this lesson, students have learned ionic, covalent and metallic bonding. In this session, the teacher would expect the students to be able to:

  1. link macro phenomena with submicro representations – more specifically, to draw metal and common salt at the submicro level;

  2. be aware of that scientific models help us to explain physical phenomena;

  3. use different scientific models to explain different physical phenomena.
