Teaching suggestions

This song is an obvious choice for getting the students to mime the actions while they sing. You can think up some more actions of your own, and ask the students to suggest some too. When the students know the basic pattern well, you can change some of the words as follows:

If you're angry and you know it stamp your feet, (x 2)
If you're angry and you know it then your face will surely show it,
If you're angry and you know it stamp your feet.

If you're puzzled and you know it scratch your head, (x 2)
If you're puzzled and you know it then your face will surely show it,
If you're puzzled and you know it scratch your head.

If you're tired and you know it stretch and yawn, (x 2)
If you're tired and you know it then your face will surely show it,
If you're tired and you know it stretch and yawn.
