This University-school Support Programme (USP) has the goal of capacity building for schools, teachers and students, particularly those involved directly in the Project. At the same time, as a more general goal, the Project should allow a good opportunity in Hong Kong (with all its unique socio-cultural and linguistic background conditions) for us – including schools, mathematics teachers, and mathematics educators in collaboration with each other – to generate better knowledge in the broader context of mathematics education for the non-Chinese speaking (NCS) secondary students in the Chinese culture of Hong Kong.
