Headline writers occasionally write newspaper headlines which are ambiguous or illogical. Below are some actual newspaper headlines from a variety of daily papers around the world. 

These are probably too difficult to use in the classroom, even with more advanced students. However, they are provided here to demonstrate the sorts of things that can go wrong with communication. See if you can figure out what has gone wrong, and why they are funny.
