Dr Liying Cheng is Associate Professor of Faculty of Education, Queen's University. She received her MA in Teaching English as a foreign language from the University of Reading in England and her PhD in second/foreign language testing from the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests focus on the impact of large-scale language testing on instruction, and the relationship between classroom assessment and instruction in language classrooms.
