A number of conferences have been organised or are in planning on various issues related to language in education and assessment with the support of the HKU Constituent Theme Funding.
The Conference will provide a forum to discuss and debate language issues in English–medium universities internationally. It will be held from 18-20 June 2008.
The Conference aims to provide a forum for researchers and scholars to discuss research issues and share findings in language acquisition related to Chinese learners or the Chinese language. It will be held from 15-16 December 2006.
